I got this pic on the Internet, this is what both of my kribs look like male and female accept the gender differences why do they not have big bellies like most I see and they don't have really vibrant colors?

Are they not breeding? The female really colors up while breeding.

I don't really know the male is digging in a cave when I first got them from the store they both had red bellies and were the only two in the tank but I don't know if they are breeding.

How long have you had your kribs for? Are you feeding them quality food and doing weekly water changes. What about their environment. Cichlids appreciate rocks and driftwood to explore. They need this for mental stimulation.

Maybe 5 weeks something like that and they have plenty of rockwork and I feed them flake food and for a treat every now and then freeze dried bloodworms.
