When I first started keeping Cichlids, I couldn't believe that a 55 gallon tank was considered "a smaller tank" for Cichlids. Often, newbies in the Cichlid arena start with 55 gallon or smaller tanks. As well, some more seasoned veterans may have a smaller tank or two for various reasons.

Those of us who have tanks that are 55 gallon or less know how challenging it can be to pick and/or find stock that are appropriate for tanks of this size.

Let's see some pictures of you creative folks out there who are able to make it work within the restrictions using 55 gallon or smaller tank. Old World or New World Cichlids.
