When I turn off my light all my fish are calm. But within 30 minutes (it's right next to my bed) I hear slapping from the surface (I have no corys  ), something hitting the glass, gravel moving around, and decor moving. HM.

Found this trhread trying to find out if I should keep my moon light on all night. When I have it on and all other lights in the room off I get to see all the fish active, even my pleco which is always in one place with the regular light on moves all over the tank with the moon light.

Before leaving my moonlights on at night my oscars had spooked a couple times hard enough to flip the lid open on the glass versatop. luckily did not get out, but got some pretty hardcore scars from it. and i cant believe the tops have not shattered. with moonlights on, i havent heard a glass bang in weeks. im all for them working with some kinds of fish, especially glassbangers.
