louvers added .. new caves :)

the poor part of connecticut
so i added the eggcrate (spelling?) today & redid my caves.. i'm not totally happy w/ them but i figure it can stay like this until i do my next water change in a few weeks

i kinda wanna go for a more natural look but i'm so OCD its hard for me to do that LOL!!

TELL ME WHAT YA THINK!!

Looks great!! How the fish responding to it?? They make the real judgement lol
 
my females have been in & out .. & the males have followed :ROFLMAO:

no ones really setting up shop yet but they normally take a little while to settle after a change up

i guess we'll see
 
I'm with ya on the OCD. Lol

Most natural look I've found is to "pile" the rocks in as opposed to "stacking".

How many times have you seen rocks look like this in nature? (Not hating on what you got, looks good; just a thought. Lol)
 
Here's an older pic of mine. I add about 5 - 10 more rocks a month and rearrange some of the ones in there; keeps them entertained with new caves. Lol

I find the rocks (lime stone) at work; the natural pH of them makes the water harder and thus better for the fish
