Malawi cichlids and plants

So I need some help picking plants

I hear my fish are plant eaters so I need some advice picking a plant for them

They tend to try to dig up the roots but I grew them on the rocks so that's a huge fail for them! Ha! But I want to add more now and I need some advice as to which ones to pick please!

I have 5 socolofi and 5 yellow labs.

Pretty much any plant is going to get destroyed IMO, try fake plants, that's what I've got. You can try some of the Anubis, they seem to be tougher for the cichlids to rip through
