Male and Female??

I got these two about a month ago and they guy said they were male and female, but I'm not so sure now?? The "Male" in the background has sparkles goin through his black spot too?? Any help would be great

Closer is female farther is male

The female seems to be a bit on the plumpier side lol the male is thinner. the female also has a pinkish belly coming through now. Yeah that's what I was thinking, so can males have sparkles going through their black spot?? Also will they breed in a tank with discus?

Yes some males will show some blue in their spot. And I would assume they will breed in a discus tank
