It's hard to tell, how old is it? Males usually form a "bump" on there forehead, and generally are larger than females.

Yeah, give it a few months, and if it develops a large forehead, then its a male.

I'm assuming that you've had the fish for a couple of weeks because if that fish is only a couple of weeks old I really need to learn somebody's secret.

Haven't you heard of the new fry juice you add to the water and they grow out in a week and a half. Duuuh, lol.
