male or female frontosa?

Recently bought this frontosa i can't decide whether or not this is a male or female.

At first i thought male because of the large head but after looking at different photos online i noticed females could get lumps this large too. And i don't want to say its a male because its fins aren't as long as the males i seen online and its colour isn't always as pronounced however i read that it may take up to 10 years before a male gets its amazing colours and long fins plus my frontosa is not a dominant fish its pretty docile. Its about a foot or so in length 2-3 years old. Still can't come to a conclusion with this one

The only real way to tell is to vent it. However, looking at the finnage I'd say female, especially of it's a foot long.

Ya that's what i am thinking plus its really not aggressive at all.
