I don't know but very nice looking. I am curios how to tell also.

Looks like a female to me but unsure I also have been searching how to sex jacks they are hard to sex.

I have been doing research and what I found was male jacks have color all over their body and females color stops around the gill cover, then they said usually LOL. So that being said I am guessing male but I don't.

I can't tell from these pics, they seem blurry, in short if there's dots/speckles around face/gill plate likely male.. if more blotchy coloring or specs are combined likely female

You can pick it up, turn it over, and look at its privates. The males looks like oo and the female looks like Oo. Also, is that an African cichlid in the background? If so, you need to take it out.
