I've got one Demasoni. Is 2 cms at the moment. Wanting other mate of different sorts. Don't want 2 of the same so I can avoid anyone breeding.

He's in a 34ltr until I get some tank mates so I can move them into a 140 ltr tank together

You would need a bigger tank if you want tankmates. Psuedotropheus demasoni is very territorial and it would not be a good idea to add more fish to a tank of that size.

Thought that might be an issue. I'm not thinking ill keep him by his self.

It will be a BIG issue, for demasoni you either keep one alone in his own tank, or keep 4 or more with tank mates, any less and they will kill each other an molest the other tank members, I've kept them successfully but it's a hassle and no more than 2 males
