Mating Ritual?

Hey guys!
I've had my Yellow Lab and Acei Cichlid for about 2 months. They've been inseparable since I placed the two together.
I noticed that my Yellow Lab is shaking (best way to describe it is a seizure-like movement and the tail fin curls inward). They're following in each other's tracks in a circle.
I know I'm probably answering my own question, but does this sound to be a mating ritual? I've been reading on the internet, BUT you guys have experience with A. Cichlids, and I'd rather get your advice.

It could go either way. It could either be a show of dominance.or mating.
