Mixing African with others.
I have about 11 different species of peacocks in my tank right now and I was wondering if their are any other (non cichlid) fish that go well with them. I have a 55g tank with only 12 fish in it right now so I have plenty of room for more fish.
I know peacocks are on the bottom of the aggression pole when it comes to Africans so they shouldn't be mean to other fish. I was wondering if their was any non cichlids that are very aggressive that I should stay away from if I get other non cichlid species. |

Your 55 gal tank will be stocked when those fish get to adult size. As for tankmates, there are some catfish that will work with the africans, such as synodontis.

I agree with Zagz. Look into Synodontis multipunctatus and petricola.
Besides them, you may be able to work in a small school of Giant Danios. I would have no more than 5-6.
