Mixing African with others.

I have about 11 different species of peacocks in my tank right now and I was wondering if their are any other (non cichlid) fish that go well with them. I have a 55g tank with only 12 fish in it right now so I have plenty of room for more fish.
I know peacocks are on the bottom of the aggression pole when it comes to Africans so they shouldn't be mean to other fish. I was wondering if their was any non cichlids that are very aggressive that I should stay away from if I get other non cichlid species.

Your 55 gal tank will be stocked when those fish get to adult size. As for tankmates, there are some catfish that will work with the africans, such as synodontis.

I agree with Zagz. Look into Synodontis multipunctatus and petricola.

Besides them, you may be able to work in a small school of Giant Danios. I would have no more than 5-6.
