Aquarium Advice Apprentice
Pretty new to having fish let alone cichlids.. I now have a 55 gallon with 8 fish and had to remove one (Albino snow white) so far because it was dramatically chasing other fish. Now the second main agressive one (female electric blue)is taking over and is chasing everyone especially the Nimbochromis venustus so id like to get all my ids down so i can proceed with compatibility questions. also 4 fish were recently added so i assume their fighting for territory altho it feels like the world vs the boss (peacock)
Here's what im pretty certain on so far:
1x Albino Snow white (removed into own tank for being way to agressive)
1x Electric blue female (grey) ("Boss of tank", agressive and chases)
1x Electric yellow (mostly peaceful stays in cave, holds it own when needed)
1x Nimbochromis venustus (peaceful, stays at top. Gets picked on a bit)
Need Ids for these ones. All mostly just added to the tank.
