Salvini cichlids are from South America. The blood parrots were bred from cichlids that came from South America. Maybe you're confused :).

The salvini is central op. And IMO the parrots don't have a location.

They are bred from Amphilophus citrinellus and Paraneetroplus synspilus both species wait for it..... are from Central America.
 
In all honesty op I would move the BP's soon. In that size tank when the salvini decides the whole tank is his he's going to put a hurting on the BP's may even kill them.
