Would love to hear any stories!

here's my little one's. They are quite entertaining. I ♡ them. They tag team the slightly bigger JD and jewel while protecting their area of the tank (above and behind black tube, inside usually belongs to JD. They have grown considerably in the week or so I've had them. Ok guess that's enough pics lol

Cool!! One of my convicts kind of beats the other one up not to bad but chases it and my jack dempsey chases both of them my female isnt ready to breed I think that's wh its being chased.

When I got them they were in with mbuna getting beat up): and they were labeled as Africans

Maybe but the water conditions are way different maybe somebody else can help out and correct me if I'm wrong.

No, I have a separate peacock /hap/mbuna tank. I don't know who's from where, (except malawi) but know SA/CA cichlids shouldn't be with peacocks, not recommended

they are, especially when they're angry lol

wow, so tiny, have you had them before? how long until they get to an inch?

Ha! Have you seen them do this twitching wiggling thing? My JD just swam up to the con and gave it the ol' cichlid glare. My little con was twitching and flaring like a bull in a cage, the JD backed off, so funny

Haha awesome I haven't seen my convicts do that but I've seen my jack dempsey do that to his reflection.

This is off topic but its so weird the past three days their has been a dead dither every morning I'm suspecting the convicts or the JD?

I don't know, that is weird? If you've seen a lot of fighting that could be. What other kind of fish?

My fish right now are 2 convicts 1 jack dempsey and 4 buenos aires tetra.

I don't know, I hate losing fish. I'm sorry about your tetras. I recently lost 4 in my peacock /hap tank, 2 dolphins, venustus, and rubin red, bacterial disease... that one hurt, I cried a little.... =) I finished treatment and am left with 8 fish who seem to be healthy, been doing big time daily wcs and am hoping for the best
