So I just refreshed my facts a bit, was going off memory. So petricola max out at 4-5" and multipunctatus at 6-1/2" inches. They look very similar but the petricola has white edges to its fins where the multi doesn't. There are alot of synodontis catfish out there and all that I have seen have spots and you have to look close to tell the differences. I'm wondering if your cuckoos are petricola and your petricola is multipunctatus.

Yeah she doesn't look like my petricola. They don't sit still long enough for me to get a good pic.
