They are very nice! I can't really tell also. I googled abalios they really look nice when they mature almost like surinamensis.

Yeah...when you see them at their best, they are some of the most beautiful larger cichlids.

I'm still trying to get a positive id on them but still too young. A few of the guys on a geophagus group have narrowed it down to 3

They were labeled as red he'd tapajos but they don't have red eyes. Sp II tapajos do.
Its so confusing.
