So my wife said no more fish ( bummer ) so i put my Africans in my 45 and my 2 eartheaters and my 2 bolivians in the 55. i told her i need a bottom dweller for the 55 and she said that was ok. I was thinking bristlenose since they don't get big, but i also was thinking of something more active. Any thoughts?

Looks like Yellow Lab, Electric Blue Hap Ahli, Peacock/Ruby Red/German Red Peacock. The Lab and the Peacock get up to 5" so prob ok in a 45 but pushing it. Your Ahli will get up to 7" and may get rather aggressive, it properly belongs in a larger tank than that at full size.

I don't have any experience with the other fish you have, but if they could go in the 45 those mixed Africans would work much better in your 55. You could add others as well in the future when your wife gives you permission to do so
