They are poor things because they were dyed, and are now being kept in a tank wwaayy to small for them, in which once they mature, they will beat the living crap outta eachother.

At a absolute minnimum, 35 gallons ( about 150 litres I think)

I believe the Rekord 60 is a 60 litre tank.

Hi there we have 3 parrot fish now and about a month ago we had one male and one female parrot and they were mating we believe the male parrot fish was getting these black marks on the fins when they were mating because the marks have gone now

the marks have gone from mine aswell they are just fine now

Have the black spots gradually gotten bigger or smaller? If they have gotten bigger it's just stress, over time it'll go away. I have two blood parrots one orange and one yellow. At one point my yellow one was almost solid black, but after a few weeks he was okay. If you have other fish in the tank with him one of them could be bullying him.
