My piece of the lake

My little bit of lake Tanganyika.

So stock list is Altolamprologus compressiceps crocodile island red fin pair, chalinochromis bifrenatus popelini pair, julidochromis transcriptus gombe pair, lamprologus ornatipinnis pair and neolamprologus caudopunctatus pair.

I'd be carefully with the shellies, they typically don't like different species and colonies will fight fiercely

Seems good so far they have there area in the centre with a dozen shells approx 12 inches square. The rock dwellers avoid that area and stick to the rock piles.

Yes I knew that thanks for your advice but as previously stated I'm not looking to raise fry in this tank if it happens fine but not looking to achieve that. Ive done plenty of single species shellie breeding tanks but this is a community display tank for tanganyikan cichlids.
