Looks like a flower horn just without the pink color so yea maybe a brichardi

deffiantly a brichardi, maybe a liitle mixed blood in there? I also have never seen the hump

It's definitely got a nuchal hump on its forehead. Usually male cichlids can get this, and once in a while a female develops one. I think it's a sign of dominance. It's also said that fish with nuchal humps sell higher than those without the hump.

It depends on the species not all cichlids get a hump, those that do your right about it growing with dominance

He's a brichardi, and quite large approx 4 inches
