Any ideas for filling in the top of my tank? It seems like I am going to have so much empty space up high.

What do you mean by filling the top of your tank? You want there to be free swimming room I wouldn't stack anything past half way up

Tiger barbs?? A group of 6 would add color and motion to the tank. They're fast enough to get away from the jewel

Cool, I am still tossing the ideas around. My big new ank is just going through its cycle right now so that gives me a bit of time to decide how I want to stock this tank. Maybe just her in there, maybe try for a breeding pair, or maybe add some other fish that could happily cohabitate with her.
Want to get some nice plants in there but I need to sort out my lighting issues in this tank first. Hood only has a single T12 bulb at 20 W. I dont think much would do well in there as it is setup at the moment.
