. With out it I'd hazard a guess at 50/50 lol.
Hard to tell with it being a juvenile as it matures the male with get a 'hump' on its back.
Beautiful looking fish though.
Unfortunately with fish colour doesn't always mean male
there's almost to way of telling when they are young. Did you want a male for breeding purposes?Yeah I thought that might be your intension. It's really difficult to tell unless you want to wait until yours matures and then buy a mature male/female depending. The other option that people do is to buy a small group, wait for a pair to form and then sell/rehome the others.
