Need Help with Beat Up Angelfish

So I had no idea what kind of fish this is, what it eats, where it originated?

Anyway, I got a free tank today.
But it came with a fish.

Previous owner had him for a while. Says hes aggressive. What do I do with him?

What should I do about his original tank?

He's probably damaged from the ammonia spikes. Best thing you can do now is provide clean water and a good diet

Do you think his decor could harm my CT? I want to put stuff from his tank into one of my others?

Haha I've found your thread finally. And I don't think so, unless the tank had parasites or other serious issues. If you are very worried toucan just boil it.

Thank you for the assurance. I figured he is discolored from years of stress and not a drop of conditioner.

Other than stress related, he looks fine to me=)

Tested the water today,
pH 7.6
Ammonia .25 ppm
Nitrite ⇩.25 ppm
Nitrate 5 ppm





It looks like his scales are coming back!
