My question is now that the fry have hatched I’m starting to notice what I think are unfertilized edges (white spots) all over the black substrate. The cat fish (corys) are frantically eating them. How quickly will fungus be an issue? I thought about doing a water change and gravel vacuuming tomorrow as I don’t want to stress the new parents out today. I’m not set up for the fry as wasn’t aware I had a male & female. My Congo tetra are also eating these white eggs. They just appeared out of no where (that I could see). Any advise most appreciated I don’t want to add medication to my tank.

Should be no problem. The fish eating them is normal and will cause no problems to them .
