New fry tank

I'm reading every thread about cichlids on here so i might as well get in on the action

My girl allowed me to put another aquarium up for my fry.
So i didnt had to be told twice

Its a 30l (8g?) i'm from belgium so i'm more familiar with the metric system.
I'm always gona have to rehome them before they get like 3cm (1,25"?)

To jump start it i always have a spare filter running in my 65g so it was plug and play

First pic is the new tank i'm very bad at decorating so ive only put a kiddything in for now.

Then i have yellow fry and another yellow mom awayting for spitting i dont know when she got a mouth full anymore but i think its been 20 days so in the net she goes!

She spit! She held for at least 30days

Fry are still kinda sluggish 1 might not make it but its to early to decide to take it out.

The other fry in the vid are from a different mother.

I have no probs with having holding females but **** its so hard to catch them!

I'm kinda worried about her shes in bad shape almost half her normal size.
I should have stripped her but i dont like doing it. 2 of my yellow labs realy hold a full 30days.

Oh well she will get better once she gets some food.

You don't get as many babies if you let her spit (heard about it) I'm trying to breed them just as something to do but they aren't adults yet. How many fry total?? Sounds awesome I love these fish!!

First there were 9 now its down to 8.

Its a funny story actualy. I redid my background today so i moved all the fish but when putting everything back they all got in the big tank lol (i'm clumsy)

So i found 8. Maybe the 1 became a snack or the litle guy is still in there.

This is the background. I still have to find matching rocks. And i'm doing some blue diy led work to bring out the background more.

Any suggestions would be appreciated

Upgraded my 30l tank to a 120l

Its a juwel lido 120
The dimensions are cr*p but got it cheap.

I'm planning on selling it and buying a 60l long tank but there are some scratches in the front glass so what i would wana do is make the back the front.
Anyone here that knows where the silicone is on the top rim?
