I have a fairly new kenyi pretty small not even an inch yet but he has spunk i mean he will flair his fins and stand up to the tank boss. Gotto love a fish with attitude

Yeah I had the same problem. He was purplish bc obviously he was still young and he took over my 55 gal with assorted cichlids up to 4.5 inches! The kenyi are very aggressive!

Not necessarily, most cichlids dig.
