Hi everyone. I am new the Cichilds. And could use some advice.

I just got a small 10gal tank. I have other tanks in house. Just standard freshwater trains. But this new 10 gal I am going to make a Cichild tank.

Is there any different about these guys I should do different?

How many do you think I could fit I a 10gal. I was thinking maybe around 4 or 5.

Any help would be great.

What kind of cichlids are you thinking about? Most will not work in a 10g. Only ones I can think of off hand are shellies and rams, the rams are sketchy at best.

I agree with dragonfish. IMO, shellies are the only cichlids suited for a 10g.
As far as semi aggressive is concerned, a 10 doesn't really have the space for many semi-aggressive fish.
Here's a list of some fish suitable for a 10g. Keep in mind they are not compatable with each other.
Ember tetras, dwarf gourami, betta, Asian stone catfish, celestial pearl danios, shell dwellig cichlids, gold ringed danios, guppies, scarley badis, chili rasbora, dwarf puffer, and platys.
Don't be detered that shellies are one of the only cichlids good for a 10, they are really cool fish and fun cichlids. :)
