I posted this in general discussion and got 1 response. Figure I would try under Cichlids and see what I get
I am getting into peacocks for the first time. I have had tanks for nearly 30 years so I am not new to keeping fish. Are there any suggestions for keeping peacocks that might be different from other fish?
I currently have a single Aluncara Baenshi in a 75 Gallon.
Also in the tank is
1 full grown Opaline Gourami (2 years old)
2 full grown sailfin mollies
5 1" baby mollies (6 months old).
1 large GBR
1 7" common pleco
I have added one more male so I now have two. The gourami was chasing the peacock so I figured if I would add another male Peacock to divert the attention. It worked for Gourami but now the original peacock is chasing the other male peacock. So how many Peacocks do I need to have the nice calm peacock tanks I see on youtube.
PS the molies and gourami will be removed once I see aggression to them but now most are same size or bigger than the peacock.
