Number of fish and what types

Could somebody please tell me how many African cichlids I should put in a 145 gallon tank and what other kind of fish to mix in with them that they won't kill or would kill them. Thank you

As I don't the specific answer here is a good read written by a member from this forum. A great guy and friend of mine. Now I will add this is with a certain cichlid. You have the option of South American cichlids, new world etc....


You could add assorted loaches like Botia loaches, clown loaches, synodontis, feather fins, upside cat fish, plecos etc....
