Ph Question

Ok as some of you know I am currently planning a Shellie tank. I have a ph of 7.5 and so was told to put crushed coral in the filter. My question is, would during water changes adding water of ph 7.5 to maybe 8, in the tank with the crushed coral, would this cause a ph swing and kill the fish?. If so does anyone have any suggestions?

No and to be honest most tank raise fish are used to slightly lower ph then natural I read I big article on it a few months back

U can if u want some will say yes some will say know but in all reality if it's not a wild. Caught fish you probly wouldn't absolutely have to but cichlids can handle fluctuations quite we'll most of the time.....I'm just giving my opinion I dnt wanna steer you one way or the other
