Glue!! lol. Seriously though... Glue the gel kind. I have over 30 Anubias in my tank. Some glued some not, they leave them alone. It's my loaches that dig them up more then my crew of cichlids.

What type of cichlids? Glued anubias, java ferns, and other plants that don't require planting may work.

Superglue gel works the best IME. You can buy it any hardware store, wally world, etc.

Where ate you located? Any CVS, Home Depot, Walmart, hobby shops etc will carry this glue.

oh cool. I'm right next to a cvs and there is a home depot about 20 min away from us.
