African cichlid, I believe, but very docile. Doesn't act like the Africans I've owned or watched before. I have him in a community tank now, and have my doubts that he would be compatible with mbunas. Anyone have one of these?

Not an African. South American from the geophagus genus. It actually looks like a Bolivian ram hybrid

That's it. Thanks! Looks like SHE will be staying in the community tank. The research has just begun, and I'm excited to learn more -especially now that I know where to look! Lots of info out there.
