I'm trying to ID this Pleco to see if he can be placed in my customer's 225 Cichlid habitat. Please help me ID it and let me know if it will be safe in a tank full of small-medium Mbuna (no larger than 2-1/2" currently)
It's 10-12" long, bought at Petco 2 yrs ago. Tank it's in is in bad condition, 29g w/community fish, pH 7.0-7.2, Ammonia 0.5-1.0, Nitrite 0.1, Nitrate off scale (150+).
If it won't get it's eyes chewed off, the owner of the tank would like to take it.
