It will pick up fine particles so you'll want it last in the filter. Otherwise it will clog up real fast. I have to rinse mine out every 2-3 days and that's why I don't recommend using it on a canister.

i just stuff it in there even if it hangs out going down the way out of the filter. Basically anything will work

So I added some pillow filter fiber into my filters and my water has never been so clear! And it's only been a few hours

Yeah it really is amazing stuff. I use it in every filter i have. You tank looks great....

Thanks I just wasn't sure because I have 2 terta hob filters should I just puts sponge in the bottom and my bio max on top of that and then the polyfil
