It's always been like that and it hasn't worsened at all so I'm guessing it's a deformity or maybe got nipped off by a more aggro fish

very nice! yea my pleco is probably only about 6" right now, in the future im thinking on selling him for a pleco that stays 5-6"

Thanks, it's a shame they get so big! I have a snowball in that tank now, he'll never get to the size of him

I had to give mine away a few months ago, he was huge! Sometimes when people buy them, they never know exactly how large they get. I know I didn't!
