Of course. I understand how filtration works. I keep a lot of cichlids, so I move a lot of water in those tanks, as I plan to do with the Saulosi tank. I don't do this in my discus tank or betta tank. I do this for fish that aren't bothered by it.

As for my earlier post, it turns out I AM on a canister budget! My boss gave me a Cascade 1000 canister for free (YAY), and the tank came with 2 AC 300s. My plan is to use them all.

i use a cascade 300 and an aqua clear 70 with a aquaclear 30 power head and i get enough current and all my water levels are fine i have 13 fish in my 55
