I disagree as mine will literally dive into the swimming school swallowing dozens of fish until the parents attack them, and by the way this happens in over 6 tanks. My new world cichlids will have anywhere from 200-1200 free swimming fry, what fish on earth will refuse meal like that.

Agree with HUKIT my Syno's swim straight into my convicts fry for a quick snack before the parents attack them.

Agreed but I still believe they will make short work of tiny fry.They are opertunists.

Yes correct, regular old britslenose will destroy my schools of free swimming fry.

They are generally considered fry safe. I have never had an issue but if you guys have witnessed it then I guess I've been proven wrong.

I wouldn't not add one one unless your trying to raise fry, I have one in 11 of 12 tanks.

yeah im trying to raise and sell fry so i wont

I put an albino bn in my fry grow out tank just to hold him there for a few days. 2 days later there were 10 fry left out of 20, so yes they will indeed eat fry.
