Ive seen people putting blood parrots in african cichlid tank are they compatible?

No they are not, but beyond that blood parrots are a hybrid fish purposely breed for their deformities and IMO don't belong in the hobby.

Theyre not really compatible with africans and would stand out like 'the big ugly elephant in the room'. Im not one of their fans either, theres enough beautiful fish to choose from without man trying to create his own monstrosities. Theyre just big lumps and dont even get me started on their stupid parrot mouthed faces.
