I have a 55 gallon tank with cichlids. Forget what cichlids they are but they are
2- electric yellow
2- OB zebra
1- strawberry peacock
5- cobalt blue zebra ones female don't know what one

I have had this tank set up for quite some time... 6 months to a year i have no idea :p. The fish are from 2 1/2 inches to just over 3 inches now. I bought them all when they were just under 2 inches. I don't exactly remember what my numbers use to be other then i had about 6 electric yellows and maybe one more cobalt. I did have like 18 but now have 10. They usually go in waves. Last two months i lost 2-3 electric yellows. I don't have money right now to add more fish. I don't even think id want to add more because leaves aren't ideal right now and with them growing it will only get harder. I don't want to re home either... the big OB does break up fights when ever they occur. I have some fake plants and i change up the slate every 1-2 months depending if i feel like spending 2 hours putting it back together and how much poop there is. I also have a pleco in there, not that it really matters i don't think. He was just put in and they leave him alone i believe. He's 6 inches. Anything i can do different? Maybe feed twice a day? I don't know :/
