I just added 2, orange angelfish (6.99 each) to my 29 gallon that is also occupied by 8, dwarf neon (praecox) rainbowfish. I've already observed a couple of nips that the rainbows have taken at the angels fins. I have always regarded these rainbowfish to be very peaceful and not nippy. Will the nipping end? It has only happened twice in 15 minutes and right now I'm not seeing any bad behavior.

Is everything going to be okay? :uhoh:

If the angels assert themselves order may be restored. It may have been due to the Angels settling in. Observe closely to see if it happens again.

no more nipping

The rainbowfish have ceased nipping the angelfish. Now I hope the angelfish don't attack the Bolivian rams I'm getting ready to add in the next 5 minutes.

no problems yet

I think all is well so far. No one is attacking anyone else.
