Hi all

I am thinking about putting a harem of Bolivin rams in my 55gal planted tank. Currently have some endlers, Cory's, a pair of Apistogramma cacatuoides and a juvenile pleco. The tank has lots of hiding areas and all my water parameters are stable. pH 7. GH 75 amo, nitrite, nitrate 0
I have heard that they won't hassle the endlers because they are to fast and reside at the top of the tank. The appistos will be moved to their own tank soon but believe they are fine with rams anyway.
Can they all just be friends?
Peace

To the best of my knowledge Rams aren't harem breeders but form pairs. You could potentially get away with 2-3 pairs provided there's enough caves and breaks in line of sight.

I don't want them breeding. The haram would be just to keep the male away from the other fish.
There are plenty of breaks in the line of sight. We'll see, I guess

Ok. Cool. Well that should be fine. The Apisto's will be out of that tank soon
Will the rams be ok in the community tank with there fry?

Keep them in pairs females will fight over males the same males would fight over females. Otherwise they will be just fine with your current stock?
