Red devil black on fins???

My red devil has black spots on his fins. I don't know what that means?

It's not at all unusual. Piebald individuals occur naturally in nature and I've seen any number of RDs with black spots or splotches over the years.

Yup totally normal. It may peel out of it, or more black might show up as it matures. I personally like them with the color in them.

Hi, my red devil just went thru that it lasted about 3 weeks. Im not sure if this has anything to do with it, but i noticed he got more aggressive after the black on fins went away.

Oh thank god I thought it was something bad! Yea I have noticed some high aggression the last couple of days

Get used to it, it will only get worse as it matures. Still one of my ALL TIME fav. Fish to own. To much personality in them. They truly live up to their names.
