Red zebra boy or girl?

Ok so I have a 3-4" red zebra cichlid that I have had since he/she was under an inch and I wanted to know how you can tell if it is a boy or girl by just lookin at him/her. Here is a picture to make it easier

Its true it could be a color morph. I still see blue females all the time at my lfs. Just vent it for a definate sexing.

Ok I'm going to vent all of my african cichlids in a like 20 minutes and I'll say if they are boy or girl

Ok so he is a boy and he is 4", also found out that my kenyi is also a boy and is 3".

No, and lol I forgot I could tell by color but he is blue and I forgot what color that the boy and girls are XD I know one of them is blue and the other yellow but I forgot which one. And It was mostly just to check the kenyis size.

Males are yellow. Females are blue.

If your kenyi is yellow than its a male. I never seen a blue male unless it was still a juvenile

The blue one is a girl, and if the other one is a blue morph it is a boy but if it is a red morph you have to vent it

Can also use dorsal fin which isn't a great way to tell. But pointed means male. Rounded is female.
