Sand spot :p

Well after changing my gravel to sand a while ago ive freaked out numerous times thinking my fish had white spot (ick)
I wont say it to loud but i havent had a dead fish since i started ( summer 2011)

When my afra red top has been digging holes or w/e in the sand he has sand particles on him has anyone experienced that also?

When i see that i start looking at him and put my hand in the feeder lid so he swims it of and its always a relief if i see them fall of lol

Ya I get spots on my fish from the sand all the time. I'm use to it now but I know it can make you do a double take

Pretty much the same with me. My heart will drop initially, then I realize it is just sand. I use the black and white caribsea cichlid sand.
