set-up suggestions

Been back in the fish game a few months now, just want to get some quick suggestions on my setup. and advice on future fish.

1-29 Gal fresh water
2- oscars
1- PLECO
filtration- 30-60 Gal Power filter 300 gph
-gonna leave it like this for a while when oscars get bigger gonna move them to a 55 GAL. There only 3 inches right now. What would be about the right time to move them?

2-30 Gal fresh water (still nearing the end of the cycle phase)
3- Angel fish
filtration- 20-40 Gal Power filter 210 gph
I want to add more to my community tank probably 3 more angel fish poss more but not sure my filtration will handle more. suggestions on how many more i can add? What about some fish that can accompany them?

Any advice would be greatly appriciated. Thanks guys.

Welcome to AA!!!

From what I've been told, your oscars will quickly outgrow a 29 gallon. Months maybe? So you'll want your 55 up and going fairly soon. Also a 55 gallon can safely house one oscar but two might not have enough room. Others with more experience will comment I'm sure.

Welcome To AA!!!!

I wouldnt put one adult oscar in anything less then a 75gallon tank.. multiple Oscars I would opt for a 120gallon (it is wider then the 125)

You only have a MAYBE a few month to move your oscars before you stunt their growth. Not even one oscar will work in a 55 when they reach adulthood as they will reach 12+ inches and a 55 is only 12 inches wide. For two I agree with greenmaji you should get a 120.

well if your angels start breeding or something they and maybe a pleco will be the only ones in the tank. and telling the gender is pretty hard 2.

IMO there is no way you could possibly keep any more angels in a 30 gallon. I personally wouldn't even add any more community fish.
