Severums

I've heard different views on how aggressive these fish can be. I wanted to know good tankmates for them no cichlids. Also do they do good in a planted tank or will the rip plants up not expensive plants just vals and some crypts. I'm still not sure if I want to put a severum in my new tank or not. Just want to get some details ironed out.

Most of the larger-bodied gentle cichlids are gonna be major plant devourers, like uaru, bocourti, severum, etc.

IME pretty much any cichlid will eat live plants.

Not all, most will just dig up and destroy them, except for the dwarves.
