I have 2 angels in a 20 gallon tank. One is about silver $ (the coin, not the fish) size and the other is slightly larger. How can I tell the difference sex wise between males and females? Please exp;ain in the easiest to understand way. Thanks

The only way I can correctly sex angels is when their breeding tubes are extended.

As they have said, the most reliable way is to either wait until they breed( then you will see the breeding tubes) or to vent them. There are other ways to sex them as in probeing, or the slope on the head if it is a male. I have 2 angels in my fishtank and i cant find out what sex they are either, either they will get along( in that case both female), fight to the death( in that case, both male), or breed( in that case, male, female).
