Shell dweller tank advice?

I rang around and the only ones my LFS had were the gold occies which I really like but they are so expensive $45 each :/ I called another store about half an hour drive and all they have are multies but didn't get a price

Holy mother of pearl!!! Well um. Id go with the multis then. If they are cheaper then get them. But you will need about three or four shells per fish. Up to you.

According to this article you could get at least 6 multis in your tank.

I know! And I really wanted them me and my partner think the golds are so cool looking. I might try a local cichild forum and see if anyone breeds them.
