I'd recommend multis or occies in this tank, but I'd also recommend it being species only. For shells, the more the better. My occies have around 16-17 shells per fish, and they won't stop breeding

It may not seem like, but there are actually more than 30 shells in there, they're just all buried lol only 4 are allowed in shells, I have two loner males who live in the rock work.
